Help bottom left search- so annyoing on tbolt

the quick search is so odd on the tbolt.

no matter what...i CANNOT get it to ONLY SEARCH my contacts. instead it always searches EVERYTHING, from songs, to apps, etc.

even if i go to settings and say "only search people" it still does a laggy universal search of everything! annoyance!

When you're on one of your home screens:

1. Press the search button on the bottom right (magnifying glass)
2. Press the picture of a phone at the top left of the search application
3. Select "People" from the list
4. Type in your search

Right......thx......but should be automatically done per settings, shouldn't need to do that small step

I see what you want now and have a solution:

1. Go to "Personalize"
2. Press "Widget"
3. Press "Browse all HTC widgets"
4. Select "Search Anywhere" (widget # 44/67)
5. Select "People"
