Root [UPDATED 28/12 - NEW INSTALLER] CyanogenMod 7/Android 2.3.4 Is avaliable for GT540!

Hi guys, i got the swiftdroid 1.5 on my lg gt540. And i want to put the Clockwork Recovery on it for the 1.6. But i can't enter the mode correctly. I power up + camera when the logo is there, after that my screen is on but doesnt show any message. My computer recognize it in fastboot mode but can't execute the commands for the recovery image.

u have to put phone in fastboot mode and then follow the steps in the first post to install recovery and when its installed its home and power together to enter recovery mode
 
I was trying to reinstall Android 2.1 since CyanogenMod 7 doesn't seem to support my SD card, but i can't get into fastboot mode, and my phone is stuck at the Android logo screen..., so it's more or less turned into a brick..., i had tried reinstalling Android 2.1 using the KDZ updater..., but that didn't work...:(

install the fastboot drivers from the first post and then use the command fastboot.exe -w an restart the phone an u will be up an runnin again
 
My accelerometer lags again after downloading the Sensor.zip, copy/pasting to sys/lib/hw, changing permissions and rebooting the phone.

+ Why is the Sensor.zip file private now?

thx for replying so fast! but I can't get it in fastboot mode, that was the problem. It just stops after LG logo in blackish screen.

I've tried downloading the drivers, but my phone won't connect to my computer, so i can't type any commands since the menu just says "< waiting for device >", on my phone the Android boot screen seems to be on a permanent loop, it looks like it's loading just like normal, but the logo will disappear for a second before reappearing and starting all over again...:(

Forgive me, I don't have much experience with flashing my phone ;)

Why does the fastboot.exe command not work?
"fastboot.exe flash recovery recovery_clockwork_3.0.0.5_swift.img "
Or do i need more files than just the clockwork_*.img ?

Nvm i found it, the fastboot was in a other map. =.=

download the drivers and place on ur desktop and then unplug ur phone an put it in fastboot then plug it back in to pc an u should be prompted found new hardware then install the drivers u placed on ur desktop ur phone is looping because the cache wasnt deleted fastboot.exe -w will remove the cache
 
Is SwiftDroid 1.6 new?

make sure every thin is spelt correct and what error message are u recivein ?

Can you install SwiftDroid 1.6 without losing any data/apps on your phone? I'm using ADW Launcher and I have really good settings and I don't want them to be reseted.

and the accelerometer still lags. Is there anything I can do about it?
