Root Completely bricked. How do I SBF from here?

I SBF'd to 2.3.34 using RSD Lite 4.9, and when the phone rebooted it's stuck on the red Moto logo.

Everything I read tells me to just re-SBF it... but how do I do this when I can't boot the phone back up for RSD Lite to recognize it?

You don't need to SBF again. Just pull the battery and press the power button while holding the home key. Once the triangle and android guy comes up, press the search button and select Wipe Data. Then restart.

Did that. Still hangs at red logo.

Pull battery, when you power back up hold down camera and down volume button while pressing power, this will boot you into bootloader from there it should see you.

If you are there, press the search button and then select reboot. As it reboots press and hold the camera and down volume button, this should boot you into bootloader.

Search button didn't do anything, but if I press both volume buttons, I can access the menu. Is that normal?

...

I accessed the bootloader! Thanks!

Ok. Pull the battery. Once you have the battery back in, press and hold the camera button and the volume down. then press the power button. This will bring you to the bootloader.

After this gets done your phone will be like it came out of the box, if you are wanting to load GB you will need to root the phone and install the clockwork mod. Then flash the rooted GB update.

It's making me activate it over and over. It dials in, I select '1' and it says it activated successfully.... but then it starts over again.

I am having a similar problem. Flashed Rooted gb and then installed d2 bootstrapper to go back. I would not. wiped cleared etc.
I then went to another menue (can't remember and wiped boot, cache, data) and now I get the little guy with the triangle. When I push the camera, vol, on button I get a screen that says:

Bootloader
30.04

Battery OK
Ok to Progaram
Connect USB
Data Cable

Help!! I AM LOST!

help please :(

When you get the triangle hit both volume buttons or the search button, that should bring up stock recovery, then you might want to factory reset then reboot.

Now when you say you were using D2 bootstraper to "go back" what do you mean?

Weird stuff happening now...

Updated with dxgbrooted.zip and it made it into Android. I could see the navy blue notification bar again, and a screen comes up asking me to choose between ADW and Set-Up. Before I could choose, it reboots.

After a quick reboot, it's back to that screen. It won't let me choose either (touch is non responsive), but I can click 'use by default' and I can drop the notification bar.

*Also, "Sorry! / Activity Android System (in process system) is not responding." error message pops up. Can't press 'force close' or 'wait.'

wtf?

*Had to re-delete data again.

I installed maderstcok340 from clockwork and it performed perfectly. I made a stock backup then I booted into clockwork and tried to install the new gingerbread put out this afternoon.

After install I get a black screen that says Bootloader 30.40 err A5, 69 and some other numbers.

I tried holding home, camera, both volumes, and volume down with camera and I cannot get past this.

Help what do I do to SBF or load a clockwork restore.

What is the size of you gbdxrooted.zip file. It sounds like you may have the one that didn't have the correct Recovery.

It should be 179,994kb in Windows explorer.

To do the SBF process you need to download the 3.340 FULL sbf file.

You need to download RSDLite 4.8 or 4.9

You need to download the drivers for your phone either 32 or 64 bit depending on your version of windows.

Then you need to Install RSDLite.
Install your Drivers.

Load up RSDLIte.

Get your phone to the bootloader screen (The black one)
Connect your phone. Browse to the the SBF File and click start.
Wait like 15 minutes It will go through a lot of stuff.

Once it boots up you will need to re-root using z4root then you need to re-bootstrap using droid x bootstrapper. Then you need to boot into recovery

Then wipe data/factory reset.

Install the gbdxrooted file (the correct sized one as mentioned above)

Then before you reboot while in clockwork Wipe data/factory reset again.

Then reboot.

I've done this 4 times now, the last time following the steps above EXACTLY. And I still got stuck on the red Motorola logo. I checked all my files and they appear to be correct based on everyone's posts. I tried the battery pull and reboot and still hangs at red logo. Anyone have any ideas?
