Thise of you w/ the extended battery- how long did it take for the initial charge?

I picked up the extended battery today (although my regular battery has improved dramatically, thankfully).

It's been off and on the charger for about two hours.

How long did your charging take with the "pregnant" battery?

Um, I meant "Those" of you. Craptastic spelling....

Reports vary. Some say 6 hours, others say 12 hours. I think I read one report of 24 hours.

Of course, not sure if these are charged in an external charger; someone said doing say negates the need for "bump" charging.

Do you like it with the extended battery? Seems so..gaudy :(

I might have to get it if I get the phone.

Gaudy, no. It's a workhorse, and sometimes workhorse=bigger. Besides, I generally carry big purses, so it's no big deal for me.

I would rather have the pregnant battery and lose any aesthetics rather than have to charge mid-day. (I will say that the regular battery performed very well today, though.)

It's well worth the extra space for the insane speed and capabilities of this phone.

How long did the stock battery last you?

Yesterday I took it off the charger at 8:30 and came home with about 60% left. I did not restrain my usage at all- phone calls, emails, navigation, etc. What I did not have a chance to do much was surf (only did some Google searches for certain things). No streaming video or using the radio. My screen brightness is at about 30% (and that's plenty bright for me, given the amazing screen/colors).

I got the extended battery for those days I will be out from early morning until late at night.

It's fully charged (and bump charged) now. I took it off the charger at 7:48 this morning. We'll see how it does. I'm going to put it through its paces today.

its taking me about 14 hours is this really normal? because this is ridicules!

Mine did not take that long to charge. It took about 6 hrs, but the phone was off while it charged. Then I woke up in the middle of the night (I usually do anyway) and bump charged it while on several times, at which point I got tired again and shut it off & went back to bed.

In the morning, I bump charged it while on again until the charging indicator turned green right away.

My extended battery result from today (so far) is:

Battery at 80%
Up time: 18:35
Awake time: 2:05

Not bad, imo.

I just ordered a leather pouch that fits the extended battery & screen protectors.

If your usage remains constant--–what you did to drain the first 20% is the same until the last 20%-–then you can quadruple those figures. I base that estimation off the analysis i did of the Seidio extended battery for the Incredible last year.

Good results and you aren't even rooted and undervolted!

Does the extended battery make the phone look like a hunch back? thinkn bput grabbn one up but dont want Quasimodo in my pocket...i dont need the "is that a TB with and extended battery in your pocket or are u just happy to see me?" jokes...

Ha ha. Well, the extended battery doesn't make the phone any sleeker, that's for sure!

If you're pocketing the phone it may not be worth it, tbh. But you can always switch back and forth between the extended and the regular battery.

I think you can return the battery if the phone is too bulky with it on. I don't think Verizon would give you a hard time about it.

Lol...I hear ya...wit the new kernels that have bn released my battery has gottn much better...but will keep the extended battery in mind...thank u

If you can remember, go into About and then Battery and tell us your uptime and awake time after a full day of heavy use.
