311 & sublime

311 and sublime are doing a tour around the US, and I was going to see them. Has any one seen the new singer of sublime live and if so is he anygood? it almost seems wrong to me to see the band now

I've seen Sublime with Rome, they are still good. While his stage antics aren't the same as Bradley, his singing is very close and if you listen to it and didn't know you probably wouldn't know the difference. Rome kind of just stands there when he sings, doesn't really move too much but the music is what counts and it's still good.

cheers! not quite what I wanted to hear. (im a sucker for stage presence) but at least I know the music will still sound the same, maybe ill just enjoy some "fresh" air while they sing and close my eyes and pretend its Bradley!

Brad Nowell WAS sublime. I don't think i could ever take them seriously without him. Bud and Eric should stick with the Long Beach Dub All-Stars and let Sublime be as it was, I didn't even know they were touring.

EXACTLY! Eric and Bud are broke and desperate for money so they hired that idiot Rome and start touring under the name of Sublime. Brad = Sublime end of story. I would dig seeing 311, but I couldnt stomach paying Bud and Eric even 1% of my ticket price. I boycott that trash.
