Cheers, I'll give it another go then.
Wonder if LED notifications work on charge with LEDmeknow like Leedroid or if they are just fail like Gingervillian.

Also I just discovered that the included GoLauncher allows swipe on homescreen to bring down notification... Yummy! :)
Shame I lose all my LP widgets then :/

I cant get LED me know to work at all on redux.

:(

Nope LEDmeknow doesn't work at all.
Oh well back to LeeDroid where it works fine.
I did have 107MB free with all my apps installed, which was nice.

Damn, bugger it and tarnation!
Can't get LEDs working under LeeDroid 3 now either :(

Going back to Gingervillian 2.0 but I'll keep a close eye on LeeDroid 3.0 because it was very good.

I like my roms to be nice and uncluttered with all the toys that the others come with. I her alot about carrier bloatware and why that's a good reason for rooting, and then once rooted, everybody seems to pick fat bloated systems full of the stuff. Cyanogen seems to be pretty much vanilla.

I pick quite light roms then lighten them further. My current rom fits in a 75MB /system partition.

ReDux for me. I liked GingerVillian as well. But of all the ones I tried, I went back to ReDux. Light, clean, fast and stable on my Desire.

I'm also supporter of vanilla ROMs. I've tried Redux, Oxygen, Gingervillain and was happy with all of them. Need still to try CM7, but don't see it being better than GV (especially in battery life).

I always thought the flavour RichardTrip added to CM was minor enough to keep the excellence of CM but major enough to make it a completely different ball game.

I'm using Cyanogen 7 with ManU 1.4 kernel. Very battery friendly.

Would have said Oxygen 2.0.3 until i tried MIUIDEV 1.4.15, love it, love it, and love it some more. Bizarrely though the battery has turned out to be amazing, so love it even more on top with cherries. Seriously though the look of it is different, got bored of sense ROMS and vanilla Android ROMS, and also really like the fact that there is quite a big theme community behind MIUI, those are the reasons why i like it so ner :p

TBH im not overly fussed on the launcher, just prefer how beautifully Zeam works compared to the MIUI launcher, but everything else in the ROM is spot on for me, cant recommend it highly enough

Is it different to this one?

Thats XJ's version of the link i initially gave, in all honesty i have no idea what he does different to the one i gave, the screen shots look to be the same, but maybe he adds or doesnt include something in the ROM or changes it in some way, honestly have no idea what the difference is lol

Good lad, hope you enjoy it as much as i do! LOL i had a backup of Oxygen i was keeping just incase MIUI wasnt upto much, just deleted that and am backing up MIUI, ive got a feeling ill be using this for a long time to come.

Currently on Redux and very happy with it. Using Zeam.
Considering Miui but worried about battery life.
Also tempted by Leedroid v3.0.

I tried Lee 3.0.2 pretty good for a ROM in its early stages. Very few bugs and pretty fast (if you want sense) plus it has the magnifying glass text thing and flip clock

Currently running MIUI still figuring out some things with it. Text alerts dont vibrate? I love Ginger Villain its quick and love the app drawer but could get beautiful widgets to work with it. Leedroid was good with the sense and themes.
