Possible next phone from VM and Motorola?

If you look closely at the picture, you can see all the buttons and logo (where it says "MOTOROLA") have been superimposed.

If it's a mock up, it should say mock up... but it looks like someone was messing w/ Photoshop.

this phone is already offered on verizon prepaid phones. the catch is the price and the monthly service that is required. the average monthly cost is over 90 a month and the phone is over 300 bucks. just for you info

Those are good points, however, if you look at some of the official promo images released by VM for the Optimus V you'll see that some show three evenly spaced columns of app shortcuts on the home screen, just like in the Motorola image. This is impossible in real life since the apps get laid out on the screen in pre-determined spots in one of sixteen fixed positions in a 4 x 4 grid. You can certainly have three columns of app shortcuts, but not three evenly spaced columns.

Here's an example of a photoshopped image released by VM:

VM even uses this "fake" image on their website. On VM's homepage, hover over the "Phones, Plans and More" menu item and the drop down box shows an image of the Optimus V with this 'shopped/not possible app configuration.

The Motorola image certainly could be a photoshop job, but it could have been created by VM for official use, just like the Optimus V photo.

I love my optimus v... but if this phone is real.. I'm definitely getting it

I'm in the same boat. I just want something a little bigger. My buddies have the EVO4 and Droid X but they also pay a pretty penny each month.

I'll wait patiently till VM comes out with a bigger screen phone :) and pay my 43 bucks a month.

Although the bigger screens phones from other company's are tempting, I like my bill and the Optimus is a pretty good phone. Just cant go back to $100 bucks a month.
