Help how to upload videos from my phone to youtube

I was just wandering how j upload videos from my phone to YouTube i have android 2.1 on my LG optimus but if wouldn't let me even when i had signed. can i even so it if not how do i convert videos from 3gp to whatever a laptop can handle cuz of says that 3gp is not supported on my laptop. thanks in advance.

If uploading them with the Youtube client doesn't work, you can visit youtube through your browser like you would on a regular pc and upload them that way.
