Help Extended battery caused major problems

Was just curious if anyone else either is having or has had problem a problem with the Seidio 3500mA extended battery? After months and months of trying new ROM's, kernels, removing apps, etc., my phone would keep rebooting at least once an hour if not more. Just for the heck of it, I decided to go back to the stock battery to see if it would make a difference. I have now been on original battery for 4 days now and have not had a single reboot! Of course I'm gonna have to revert back to more or less carrying my charger around with me at all times, but to stop this problem, it's worth it. Was wondering if anyone knew what the problem with the battery could be? Is it overheating due to its larger size and the phone is shutting off as a precautionary measure? Just curious.

I've used that battery and never seen those issues- sounds more like a bad battery or lose connection?

If it were me, I think I'd clean the battery terminals with a pencil eraser, and contact Seidio for a replacement if it didn't help.

I've had my inc reboot several times to the point that I finally called Verizon. They had me remove the stock battery, reinstall, and restart, etc. .. all the usual stuff when they don't have a clue whats going on. It was good for a couple of days then it rebooted again. Now that it's happened multiple times since, I've also become aware that each time it has happened I was setting on the couch, in the den watching TV. The signal strength is terrible at that location, and I'm guessing that has something to do with it, but can't say for sure.
