Root Trying Different Roms/Kernal Combos - What has worked best for you?

I was using DAS BAMF 1.5 with his new Radio and am trying Thunder and Lightning right now.

Seems like T&L Battery life hasn't been that great so far. DAS BAMF 1.3 with 1.2 Kernal seemed to get the best battery life for me.

What have you guys tried. My absolute must is obviously battery life, which in turn I don't mind underclocking if that will help.

Just would like to get a consensus on who has had success with what variations?

Have you tryed downloading the app setCPU? there is a profile that you can set called screen off you can set it so its at 245/245 witch will make it so when you have the screen off it will not use your battery life as much as when you are using the phone i downloaded it and i didnt have to charge my phone yesterday witch usually i have to charge by 3pm try that out and what im running is down in my signature :cool:

Oh and try out kernel manager from the market place there are a ton of different kernels on there and they explane what they offer really nice app you can download and flash right from the app!!

cool. Was actually going to try 1.5 with the extreme kernal as I have read that several users are getting what they want with the battery life.

Me too, in setcpu running it oc'd to 1.3ghz with ondemand. Best battery life so far, was also getting great battery live with Adryn's 4.3b kernel as well before the 4.4.2 was dropped.
