Spare Battery For The Pulse.

amd3000

Newbie
I have been trying to track down a spare battery for the Pulse since i got it. Due to its rubbish performance.

I contacted T-Mobile who cannot supply them. They told me that if the phone develops a battery problem then they swap the whole phone for a new one which seems a little extreme.

So ..... i emailed the manufacturer and this is the reply i received:

Guess this means that they are not available.

Interestingly Huawei have pulled the model from their website.

Maybe the pulse is due to become a discontinued model ?

Oh dear. I just bought one (see separate thread I started "Is pulse pulled?" which seemed ominous to me). It is however a sad fact that decent replacement phone batteries are not easily obtained at OEM quality on other phones unless you pay a price which encourages you to go for a new phone anyway, based on my experience with HTC. In other words, use once and throw away, or send it back to t-m.... either within the 7 day cool off period or afterwards when it fails. We lead slightly tragic lives so far as keeping things going, it strikes me
