Root Little Help[Droidx Roms]

Hello Everyone,

So Yesterday i finally decided to give roms and themes a chance . So i downloaded different types of roms and themes but each had atleast one issue in them or didnt have correct files or wouldnt let me backup my contacts and apps with backup assistance & google. I have wiped off my data atleast 10 times in the past few hours.

So today i come here to ask if you guys could help me by giving me the download link [With instructions if possible] to a rom that looks
-Clean
-Pretty Fast
-Has No Bugs / Issues With it
-Will Let Me Restore Things i need

If anyone could help me out i will be ever so thankful ! i just want a better look for my droidx.
 
well there is the leaked gingerbread, but its not as easy to install as the other roms

did you try apex?
what features exactly are you looking to have?
 
features i want are just to
-Clean Rom
-i want to be able to sync my contacts and apps back after i wipe them out
-i want a whole new bar at the top something nice looking
-Something that is pretty fast and can work the droid to its full potential
-Some nice mods for some of the apps like there was a theme i downloaded with a nice sms mod

do you happen to know how to gingerbread?
or do you know any good roms that will suit me?

no i have not tried apex i think
 
Your contacts will be resynced through Google/gmail. For your apps, get titanium backup off of the market. And for a rom, I really liked liberty 2. I'm on my phone, or else I'd give you a link for the rom.

and i think rubix is a soild clean starter rom no bugs

he is currently on froyo right now, got him set up with the most stable rom out there (apex 1.4.1)

though the theme list for apex isnt big at all, i told him about the Liberty Toolbox(free) to download liberty 2.0.1 and then check out all those themes. but right now for a newbie he should stay on froyo til he gets the hang on what he is really looking for in a rom

rubix is froyo and from what i see alot of people that talk on xda, dx fourms and a few other forums that rubix is the best starter rom but neither i or you can say what the best is for anyone cause we all have diff needs
 
yea, luckily though, most of the people on this forum will admitt apex being the best starter rom, clean, fast, only the blur you need remains, toolbox option (which doesnt seem to be working right now) and great support from Fab.

i admitt rubix is great to have, but i believe apex is the best starter rom
and fission could be a great rom for more experienced users who enjoy certain things
