Root Quick question

Ever since I been using cm6 I get double text messages, idk why but it wasnt like tht before, gets annoying having my phone blow up and having to get rid of each notification, Im using handset sms now, and im on metro. anyone know a solution to this?

Are you getting 2 text messages or 2 notifications (1 for messaging and 1 for Handsent). If it's the latter, go into messaging and turn off notifications.

Your using Metro. It was bound to happen at one time. Metro always has problems such as double messages - And some messages not sending.

I get double mssages every txt. Getting 2 notifications as well. I turned off original messaging notifications but still happens on handcent sms, it might be jus metro or idk maybe i did something when I flashed cm6 or the mms fix who knows. Any word on tht tapout 2.2 os working on original ascend?

im on icarus and got a sd booster an it say cache is 128 wat should i change it to

I've been using handcent SMS since i got my ascend and never experienced any problems. Make sure you turn off everything you can on the original messenger such as ringtone, notification, etc. If u don't want handcents notification as well click menu then settings and remove the notification
