Root Will OOTA update leave my phone 'unrooted'?

Hi,

a while back i rooted my phone and installed a custom ROM.

Recently my phone is frequently alerting me that there is a new update available and prompts me to download it. Will this revert my phone back tio 'unrooted'? and cause me to lose all the mods etc that are on there currently... importantly the app2sd which if lost would cause lots and lots of stuff to stop working as the apps are all on SD card at moment..

It will

1) unroot your phone

2) possibly ruin your phone.

Do NOT accept OTA updates.

And yes, anything that needs root access will no longer function, if your phone works properly at all anyway.
