Help Facebook and Tbolt

I just got my Tbolt, and am messing around with it. I haven't quite gotten to the point where I want to root it yet, but I have started digging around with it. I'm located in an area with limited 4g network, it's not fully built yet, so I decided to shut off 4g using the method posted online, *#*#4636#*#*. this was successful, and I noticed the 3g came up immediately. However, when I went to FB, I got that error, saying data exceeded 1000 of 600, or whatever...it never stayed on the screen long enough for me to memorize. So, after doing some digging online, and coming up dry, I uninstalled FB, rebooted the phone, and reinstalled it. Same problem. I decided to reactivate the 4g, and then found out that FB worked fine. Not sure if this helps anyone else out, but just what I found worked...something about the TBolt requiring 4g to function properly, maybe?

Again, this is just what I found seemed to work for me, your thoughts?

I get that message every now and then. I don't think its a 4g/3g issue. Not really sure what it is. Usually loads up after a few seconds though. Definitely frustrating when it happens.

Yeah, I just went back and disabled 4g again, and now FB works fine...dunno...oh well. FB for Android may be trash, but I'll still take an Android phone over an iphone any day...not sure exactly why, other than I'm more comfortable with android, and too many people at work run around shouting apple, mac, ipod, iphone, ipad, they're the greatest things in the world...So I refuse to get one on that principle...

i get issues like this with facebook all the time. it's often an FB issue and not a device/carrier issue.
and while i agree that i would generally take any android device over an iphone, it is worth mentioning that FB for iphone is also trash. FB.com is also trash. while i enjoy the service they provide, it is not without its (many) faults. it seems the network is full of holes. and the mobile platforms are even worse.
