Help LG Ally Battery Life 100% to 90% Fast

I was just wondering if anyone else was having an issue with their Ally loosing battery life very quickly. When I finish charging my phone and disconnect it, my phone seems to loose charge very quickly from 100% to 90%ish. I use velocity 1.1 and I dont have it set to overclock, plus I make to turn off all un necessary apps. Also, I don't use any widgets....

Is anyone else dealing with this or knows of a fix.

Thanks

From what i understand but cant explain is, its normal for android phones to drain in that first 10%. After it drops from 90 it should even out. If it continues you can always do a battery stat clear. Charge it up to 100,recovery-wipe batt stats then let the battery drain all the way down before recharging. Its been said that its good to do that when flashing a new rom, if youre rooted.

Thanks for the info....I did some playing around and I found that disabling 3g seems to help with the battery life...I have been doing some searching for a one click widget to disable enable 3g on the lg ally. I found 2 types ones that don't work and ones that direct me to the settings to do it. Does anyone one of a widget that works on the ally that disables enables 3g with single touch.

Thanks Again for the info.

Thanks death,

Also I found one....One touch 3g on...one touch 3g off. DataSwitch and its free. turning off 3g seems to be helping with the battery life.

Thanks

For some reason mine is way worse than that. I'm running Velocity 1.1 and I'm not overclocked right now at all. After mine is fully charged, I can use it for about 10 minutes, and my battery is in the 80-85 percentile range. It seems like I have something running in the background that shouldn't be. The only app that I've added that uses data is Facebook. I've uninstalled it and get the same result. I don't know whats going on with my phone.

Been noticing this recently too since using V1.1. I was thinking the exact same thing as I got in bed last night, it was plugged in and saying fully charged, so I unplugged it and messed with it for about ten minutes before bed, and I was down to 85 already. I never leave GPS, WiFi, or anything extra on.

Yeah when I was on V1.0 everything was working perfect. I'm wondering what could have been added to make the drain so much faster? I'm sure one of the great Dev's will figure it out. :)
