Lol. Good god. With that gold trim, it looks even more like a 90's era micro cassette tape recorder.

Well, if accurate, this answers the question, on-chassis or on-cover:

Lol how does that site already have a complete teardown of the phone? Do they let you buy the parts now? haha.
My guess is that we'll get the red, but I'd much rather have gold. That said, I'd take it in puke green if they'd just give a release date and get it out asap.

Maybe I'm ok with it because decades ago, this was one of my favorite recording tapes:

ROFLOL.... me too, Earlymon. You and I must be similar in age to recall these tapes. I still have a boxful. You crack me up, man.....Lol how does that site already have a complete teardown of the phone? Do they let you buy the parts now? haha.

Don't know, but it's never been uncommon for those guys in particular to list parts early.

If that's broken due to a session id, goto their home page, enter evo 3d in search box.
Hopefully they will put out battery covers with different colors.
I'm in for all black one... please.
I think that would be a smart play by HTC/Sprint.
I expect to be going for the kickstand cover replacement. If this is accurate, it's straight black:

Agreed. I think this one looks sharp and protection looks good, too. Care to speculate what this option will go for?
+1. Which is why I may invest in a 3rd party kickstand case.So long as they don't think it's worth its weight in gold then I can buy one without going into the red.
Yeah - I'll keep the day job.
Since any accessory at Sprint goes for a whale of dough, I'm gonna guess US$34.95.

Yes, that's my understanding as well - it replaces the original rear access battery service hatch (or whatever we're calling the cover!).
