1. How do you make it so the wallpaper isnt stretched over 5 pages? I kinda want just the same wallpaper on all 5 screens instead of cascading?

2. If someone sends a pic in a message, how do you save it to phone? Only options i seem to get is set as contact pic, wall paper or group contact. No saving

download launcher pro, and in settings you can disable wallpaper scrolling.

and saving pics, you can long press on the pic and tap save.

MMS is picture (or video/music,etc) messaging.(multi-media message system)
SMS is text. (short message system)

Ah, my mistake. Well, yes. I have done 0 updates. That's why i originally came to this forum, to upgrade to 2.2 or 2.3

Do you have auto rotate checked in the settings?
Menu>Settings>Display> Auto Rotate

go to setting/cyanogenmod/setting and tap performance, tap cpu and change it to 710 and check set on boot, than restart your phone...
