Here are batteries that are compatible withSamsung Replenish M580 / SPH-M580
Samsung Galaxy Prevail M820 / SPH-M820
Samsung Intercept M910 / SPH-M910
Samsung Transform M920 SPH-M920
Samsung Acclaim R880 / SCH-R880
Samsung Craft R900 / SCH-R900
Samsung Galaxy Indulge R910 / SCH-R910
Samsung Sidekick 4G T839 / SGH-T839..
THEY HAVE Extended batteries for some of these phones THAT FIT SAME BATTERIES 2600MAH
And so on. But the covers don't fit. But Batterybay.net is the only ones making a complete extended battery kit
 
Just be warned that some of these batteries are not supported by the phone though. So it might require a little bit of research first to make sure they are compatible, cause some extended batteries will NOT charge in the phone...

Let me answer that those batteries are identical and the extended battery that Samsung!!! make for another phone. Fits perfect on the indulge .but its just better wait for the kit batterybay is going to release soon .email them see if u can get exact date

it doesnt matter if it fits. some of them will not charge when they are in the phone and you will need to charge them in a cradle. do you work for that damn company or some shit?
 
There is already a LONG thread about extended batteries. Rather than having us repost all the stuff why not go read it?

Long story short most of the extended batteries will not charge in the phone

I caught samsung technical support the batteries will charge no problem. Just take it bit longer to charge bigger battery
 
Laz818 you are either lying or have been lied to.

The phone will not charge a battery it does not recognize. Either while powered or while shut down. It will display a message that it is not supported.

This is for safety reasons because each battery has an amount of charge it can take at a time and a safe temperature. If you override this it is quite easy to start a fire (remember all those bad laptop batteries that exploded?)

I have found the information needed to modify the kernel to accept aftermarket batteries. http://androidforums.com/indulge-all-things-root/328049-use-non-oem-batteries.html
A custom kernel is currently being tested and I will push to have this modified applied if possible

The lithium ion battery in our phones is exactly the same as most laptop batteries, just smaller. They both have circuitry to monitor the charge and a maximum amount of charge that can be applied at one time. If our 1500mah hours were perfectly efficient we could theoretically charge it at 1500ma and have it be full in one hour. Unfortunately a battery like that would cost way too much so there has to be a balance between performance and price.

The aftermarket batteries often lack the proper circuit. Some, including the OE Samsung 2600mah battery, have the right IC onboard but the phone doesn't have a "profile" for the specific battery and refuses to charge it.

So far the ONLY batteries anyone has found to charge in the phone are 1500mah or 1150mah.

Its good that batterybay is coming out with one that will work for are phones
 
Sent out an e-mail to Batterybay.com inquiring about the extended battery that they have been working on for the Indulge and here was their response.

"TO our customer,

It will be in late June. So please wait with patient. Thanks."
