SGS2 Official Samsung Vehicle Dock

Has anyone else got the official Samsung Vehicle Dock for the Galaxy S2? Mine arrived yesterday and initially I was delighted because as well as the dock having a mUSB power socket it also has a 3.5mm audio-out port.

However, enthusiasm waned when I connected it up. The sound is awful. Lots of crackle and tonnes of "phone intereference" (you know the sound when you place a mobile near a speaker). Quite a dissappointment. Means that to listen to music without going insane you'd probably have to turn it to Flight Mode to kill the phone...kinda negating the point of having a vehicle dock!

Any solutions? Anyone else found the same? Anyone else found no interference?

Any chance Samsung could create a firmware fix? The audio must be coming out of the mUSB as no where else connects.

All sorted! The bad sound was caused by a poor power connection with the cigarette lighter. Wired in properly and now seems to work much better!

Thanks, I also have the same problem. What do you mean by hard wired? Did you readjust the positioning of the plug or by pass the plug all together?
