Help Calendar trouble

so i was trying to remove a facebook event from my calendar that wouldn't delete even though i was not attending. i went to running applications and cleared data, then re-synced. my previous calendar events came back, but none of my facebook events are there (birthdays, etc). the setting is set to have facebook sync, but nothing is showing up i've re-synced, turned the phone off, unchecked n refreshed then rechecked n refreshed the calendar, but nothing. what am i doing wrong? can someone tell me how to get my facebook to sync again please

I don't really use facebook syncing, but you might want to try deleting the facebook app and re-installing. It could sync everything back up
