Long text messages not sending

Not to change the subject, but is there a reason why you have no tried CyanogenMod 7 yet? It is really quite good and I have been using it as my daily driver for a few weeks now.

The long text messages not sending might be due to a setting. I use Handcent SMS and there is a setting for it in the menu.

LOL I have not been following up on the latest roms. Thanks for letting me know though. Hopefully upgrading to the latest Cyanogenmod will somehow make the problem go away :)

If you update to CyanogenMod 7 and still use the stock SMS app, it may still be an issue. That is why I suggested Handcent SMS.

I know for a fact that there is an option for longer text messages in that app. So, give it a try and report back when you get a chance.
