Can't find Wordfeud on Android market

KMCC

Lurker
I uninstalled my paid version on Wordfeud for awhile. When I went back to restore in Android market, I searched for Wordfeud but it was not there. Only other types of word games. Anyone have suggestion?

Thanks, I'll search by appbrain.com

It still did not help by searching appbrain. Thank you, though.
I just don't understand why it's not there. Uninstalled and reinstalled once before, and had no problems.

If you paid for Wordfeud, it will always be linked to your Google account. It should be in your apps, in the market, labeled purchased

To Andygu3:
Yes, I had checked my apps, it wasn't there either. Thank you

I have uninstalled this game before, and then reinstalled with no problem. This time it was not in my apps, nor does it show up in the market when I search "wordfeud". I have done this once before and it was there. I don't understand why it isn't there this time. But thank you for your suggestion.

Are you rooted or just stock? That's very strange if you're stock

I'm not familiar with the terms rooted or stock. Therefore you probably know which I am. I'm assuming "stock".

For information:
I've had HTC Hero for 1 1/2 years.

To access the internet on my pc, I use my phone by tethering or bluetooth.

Would uninstalling the app from phone settings, "applications", make a difference? (Other than uninstalling from Android Market)

This really is not that important, it's just a game I'm trying to reinstall, but a "paid for" one, lol.

Thanks, again.

Just as a follow-up. I was able to find Wordfeud on the Amazon Appstore. Although it is not the paid version.

If you want the app to come off the phone, it is recommended to wipe cache and data then uninstall the app from manage applications first, then reboot the phone. Then go back into the market but I'm still confused why the paid is not showing up as purchased

Thank you for the uninstalling info. I never new the proper way to do that.

I can't remember which way I had uninstalled Wordfeud, so wasn't sure if that could be the problem. When I uninstall from the Market it always asks "why" uninstalling and then says "you can reinstall", so I'm confused too. But I believe I uninstalled from my "manage applications".

When I installed Wordfeud from Amazon Appstore, it wouldn't let me use my email address that was on Wordfeud under the Market source; it said that email is being used by another; yes, that was me of course.

The only difference I see now, is that I opened a gmail address, hotmail was giving me problems, but the hotmail address is still active.

BTW, I have sent Wordfeud support an email about this, but as of yet, they have not responded, so I appreciate your trying to help.

Possibly the Android Market has blocked Wordfeud on my phone, because there was open games when I uninstalled, although I had completed my plays for each game.

Oh well, as I said it was just a game; but has become a challenge now.
