infuse & hdmi

I seem to be getting poor quality from the MHL to HDMI adapter...it's like the output is the same resolution as the phone's display (800x480) and it's just stretched to fit the screen...makes it look I'm watching an old DVD...
 
It does that until you play some sort of media... Open the video player and play a movie and it will play at 720p.
