Root Peter Alfonso: Stock Rooted Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3) ROM Update GPA15

Anyone know of a battery % mod for this ROM? I can't seem to find a theme or mod yet that will do that. Thanks!

I use Metamorph for simple edits. You can find a lot of really cool battery icons w/ and w/o percents here: Battery Icons – droidpirate.com and the metamorph app from the market: https://market.android.com/search?q=metamorph&so=1&c=apps (note that there are two versions, one paid and one free).

Just remember to nandroid backup before making any edits!

Pretty funny. Installed this to get back to a simple rom and immediately out of the gate 3G turns to 1X and stays there. People say its a GB issue, but tell you what, doesn't happen with Liquid roms. And I refuse to have to turn off the radio and back on to restore what is basic functionality. Back to Liquid...

I had way too many issues with all GB ROMs that I gave up on them. This issue happened on this ROM quite a bit, but would usually fix itself after a while. My biggest issue was losing connection to Google and having the green go away. Once it went away, I would have to reboot to get it back.

I,too, have given up on GB roms. Tried quite a few and they either have 3g issues or can't multitask or some other odd thing to em. Just using Froyo for the time being.

I can't find any Froyo roms (any recent ones anyway)... which one did you flash?

Hmm, curiously enough, I just realized that docking my phone, or usb connect of any kind, gives me no options to enable/disable mass storage more or debugging. As a matter of fact there is no USB notification bar at all when docked, and I can't for the life of me find an option to enable/disable it in settings. All good, I was going to try flashing chevy's SS to show a friend but I guess I'll go to bed now :D

I've got this issue too... Anyone figure it out? Running GPA 15, and the 1.0g LV v.1 kernal...

I'll try the 2.0 and see if that helps.

Edit - Ok, I flashed the v.2 kernel, and I have USB notification again. 3G does not drop either! SWEET!

It is always something with gingerbread...

The above configuration ran GREAT.... For a few days...

Now, pretty much EVERY time I get a call, the Android.Phone app will fail close after I anwser the call. the "Swipe to answer" bar will freeze mid swipe, most of the time the call will go to speaker, and about 4 seconds later it FC's...

anyone else see this? any fix yet?

I rooted today for the very first time. It worked. Then I downloaded GPA15 to the root of my SD card. Went to ROM Manager, went through the process and now my phone has an yellow exclamation mark inside a triangle with a picture of a phone underneath it. My guess is this is not normal. Any suggestions on what to do now??
