Help Screen Issue

Just got the Nexus S a couple of days ago. I'm really liking the design of the phone minus the glossy back. Anyway, does anyone else have color banding issues with their nexus s? For example, with the Galaxy Live Wallpaper, the pink swirl appears to be boxy and the background stars are white streaks instead of white dots.

My Captivate (2.2) doesn't have this problem. Is this a gingerbread issue?

The colors on my screen are very true. You might have a problem with yor hardware.

Thanks, I hope I can get this thing replaced. Also hearing this crackling noise whenever I get play songs, videos or just get a notification.

I have no screen issues with mine.
