unlocked desire question

hi just unlocked my desire for my gf broght a phone 2nd hand does any1 know if i format the phone will i loose the open to all networks(soz if dont make sence )

Alright mate!

Just been having a similar conversation in another thread... if it is unlocked then, even if you do a factory reset, it will remain unlocked.
