Root Need assistance with evo4g unrevoked update may have crashed phone

This morning I woke up and found my Evo displaying a message about an update. I ok'd the update and now my phone is showing a triangle with an exclamation in the middle of it with an android bot just below that. Does anyone know what this means? Can anyone help me to fix it if there is a problem?

HTC Evo4g with unrevoked

Thanks.

All you need to do is reboot the phone, the update will not be applied while you are rooted, nothing has changed on your phone just reboot and your good

Thanks Tow Master, I pulled my battery and stuck it back in and now I am back up and running. The phone is asking me if I would like to update to System Upgrade 4.22.651.2 (109.21MB) but I won't be able to do this unless I unroot first, am I understanding this correctly?

There's no need to unroot and apply this OTA. Just get ROM Manager from the Market, and inside it, you will see the rooted 2.3 update in the Sprint ROM section. It's the official OTA, just rooted. I applied it on my rooted EVO, and it works great.

Kingp is correct that you do not need to unroot to get the update. I would however suggest that you download and flash it manually in recovery. Rom manager has been know to have issues along with CWM of which RM is a front end for. You can download the rooted update here: [ROM][STOCK] --- Version 4.22.651.2 --- Odexed & De-Odexed --- - xda-developers

Instructions to wipe and flash are in the rooting guide. If you have issues or questions, we are here to help.
