Guys I know we all want the phone asap. I ordered mine at 1245 am eastern time and it still says processing at the warehouse. Yes, i would very much like to get it tomorrow but if I get it Thursday thats not to bad. Dont get your panties in a bunch if you get it Thursday instead. Its ONE day different and still a day before the phone is released. Can we please keep any crying here to a minimum.
 
This turned into a pretty awesome thread. Funny, yet very informative.

My order status still shows as processing in the warehouse. I was about to freak out but then I read ArmageddonX's post and it calmed my nerves.
 
From the Sprint Forums:
"So it appears that some or many of the first to order, had the order cancelled and it's being reentered and delayed a day, behind all the orders from today."

So if you stayed up late to be the first to order you might (might) be behind people in line who ordered this morning. However, even if you get your Evo3D Thursday instead of Wednesday that's still one day before release. I'm indifferent to the fact because I wont get mine until Thursday or Friday regardless.

"Funny thing is this exact same thing happened when the Blackberry Tour came out. Bunch of people waited up until midnight and ordered. I ordered at like 8am that same day. Next day I got my phone and the people who ordered at midnight got screwed and didn't receive their phones for 1-2 days later.

Moral of the story. NEVER be one of the first because you have a good chance Sprint will cancel your order and re-submit it."

And I feel for you guys that have to wait until the 22nd or 23rd to get your phones. Never mind the vast majority of people getting the phone who have to wait all the way to the seemingly-will-never-come 24th. :p
 
I called in alarm awhile ago when I encountered the "your order number is not in our system" message. We had to wait quite awhile (I presume while my information came up on their internal system), and the Sprint rep was being chatty, presumably because it would keep me from getting frustrated. She said that they had had an extremely busy day with the orders for this phone, but when I asked her if it was as crazy as the EVO 4G launch last year, she said it was not that bad. She did point out though, that so far it is only Sprint Premier members (and presumably some impostors) ordering, but that it will get much worse when the general release date comes and everyone can order.

My order number isn't recognized, and I ordered at Midnight Central Time last night, I hope I'm not one of those whose order was cancelled and shipment delayed! Especially since I'm very eager to actually test my 3G connection myself after seeing the Phonedog video review. Oh, the agony! Oh, the pathos!

Those guys over there are VERY sensitive about this whole process.
I thought some where actually going to start crying last night :p

On another note my GROUND shipped order from EVP finally updated with a delivery estimate. They are saying 6/23 by end of day. I still think it may come tomorrow but I'll take thursday over friday for sure :)
 
Now for those that have tracking information, how much does it say your package weighs? I am asking since I placed two separate orders but both seem to have the same tracking number and I want to make sure they put both of them in the box. I just don't want any surprises come tomorrow. My package weight is coming up at 2.30lbs.

Thanks bros, looks like both my 3vo's are in one box since my weight is 2.3lbs. Anyway the only thing I hate about ups is that they show up at all sorts of weird times especially later in the day compared to fedex where I usually get it by noon, at least in my area anyway.

lately my guy has been showing up around 6pm! poor guy. but perfect for me as i get home around 5:30.
 
Ordered my Evo 3D at 8:30 this morning, got my confirmation email around 8:30 this evening with a tracking number. Thank God Louisville is only a good 2.5 hours away. Also my UPS driver is known for making early deliveries, so I may have the phone at 10 tomorrow morning.

Phone left Louisville at 10.26 p.m. I may go and meet the UPS driver at the Kentucky state line.

ha ha. you might just win with first delivery. doesn't count if you hijack the truck though.
