Help Music Player problem

Every time I skip to a new song there is a loud annoying "pop" or "scratch" type of noise...I don't really know how to describe it. Like, when the new song starts, there is a very quick noise...I know I'm not describing it well, but the switch from one song to the next was completely silent on my E4G...now there is a noise, and it's really annoying if I have the phone plugged into the aux jack on my trucks cd player and am rocking the f*** out.

Anyone got the same thing?

that sounds like its the data stream. data in digital form sounds like a scratching noise/white noise kind of sound. so what is probably happening is when you change songs the decoding stops for a millisecond or so and you only hear the RAW data stream.

what steps have you taken to troubleshoot? have you tried another player?

Have not tried any steps to troubleshoot, because I have no clue where to even start.

I tried using MixZing and the stock HTC music player and had the problem with both of them. I upgraded to Mixzing premium and it still does it.
