Help GPS not working after Gingerbread Update on DHD

Today I have updated my DHD to Gingerbread and now my GPS is not working anymore. I can not use the Navigation and Maps. It shows your location is currently unavailable. Please help..

GPS is quite poor on the DHD anyway.

Do any of the fixes here help?

A major OS update is bound to have a few little quirks for some users; it won't be flawless for every single install.

Did you try any of the fixes?

Just double check everything is checked in Settings -> Locations. Use Wireless Networks and Use GPS Satelites.

Seems simple, but worth a shot....

I'm having the same issue. GPS is virtually dead! If I leave the phone on a flat surface, outside for about 15 to 20 minutes it gets a lock on maybe 5 or 6 satelites but it is real touchy. As soon as I move the phone from the ideal position it loses the lock. It also loses lock at random. Very frustrating!! Nothing works properly on the phone without GPS functioning correctly.

having issues from mine to as well as the proximity sensor not working so it has been sent away to get fixed.

yep me to, no GPS signal must say though my battery life has improved signiflcantly, but no GPS at all

my gps now works fine itseems to have sorted "itself out"??? perhaps it was having a moment.
and as mentioned before battery life seems to have increased dramatically,

I had terrible problems with my handset too but after running the gps test and status apps, updating agps data with wifi enabled and then leaving in a window for a while the gps calibrated correctly. You just have to wait it out really as your device reconfigures your gps region. I would assume the update that was downloaded might not have had the correct geographic region set and unless you root your device satellite searching is all you can do. My gps is very accurate now after going from 2 satellites to 8+ most of the time.
