Help Issue with My Verizon app.

I just got my phone a few hours ago, and tried running the My Verizon app. It told me that I needed to update it, so I did so. Once it finished downloading and installing successfully through the Market, I attempted to run the app again, and it gives me the same message saying that I need to update it. I've tried uninstalling the update, and re-installing. Nothing. Any help? This is my first smartphone. Thank you.
