3.1 feels like a new tablet

There's a new user guide in PDF format in the downloads folder now. Its an actual guide and not like the paper that came with the device. Just an FYI.

Considering the wifi was already unsteady with low signal areas, that seems almost impossible, since the next step down would be rough for any connection, except next to a router.

Really?

I had no issues with the wifi before, I always had perfect signal in my house. Now, I'm lucky to have 2 bar signal. The wifi signal icon also has up and down arrows on it, which is different.
There is also sounds being played when I type online, even though I have them turned off in settings. Pretty annoying.
Moboplayer is juddery and doesn't play files it has previously played.
Dolphin browser HD now takes a lot longer to load tabs than it did before and freezes a lot.
Apps which never force closed, now force close.

I'm never going to add a mouse, controller or keyboard to my tablet, so this update has caused more negatives than positives for me.

mrcaptain I feel your pain as well. I do see some positives in the new apps that come with it(Movie editor, Zinio, etc.) but if the system is slower to react to my back key press and my wifi doesn't work, then it is becoming useless to me.

The wifi was fixed in last update. The 3.1 update shows a difference towards the lower end for me, but only slightly in my case and not enough to diss the unit or take it back or even complain about it at all. Of course if I was Rush I would be taking it back every week for a new one until they kicked me out of the store for being indecisive and or unable to stick with my decisions on tablet choices lol.

At least I gave rhe A500 a second chance. Two tabs in three weeks is a little less than every week.
