Help gtalk force closes

Hey all,

I'm coming from a Hero and loving my 3VO. However, I've never encountered this problem with my hero. I try to open my Gtalk and the logo comes out and I think below it says, "signing in".

The only reason I think it says "signing in" is because it shows for a second. Then I go back to my home screen. Did Gtalk force close?

I have a 4G connection and used the internet browser to check my FB page. So it's not a connection problem. I did a shut down. No help.

Is anyone else having this problem?

before i got to try your solution i did a restart and it solved the problem. I assumed if I powered down, it would be the same result. But apparently not. Thanks for the advice.

my 3vo randomly started doing that too...

even after a restart... pulling the battery out, shutting of off for awhile... nothing fixed it...

randomly this morning, it started working.

I recently got a new 3D to replace a broken one.

Every time I try to get on Talk for gchat, it acts like its signing in, and then quickly leaves the ap and goes to my home screen.

I've tried clearing data and resetting the phone multiple times. I cant uninstall it . Also the Market is back to the old version, so I was thinking maybe Talk is an older version as well.

Any advice? Thanks in advance
