I know a lot of people have been having trouble with YouTube. I was experiencing these same problems. When i first got the phone YouTube worked fine, and then i started experiencing the following message. "Sorry, this video cannot be played".
However i found that when i cleared my search history the videos would then play. For those that don't know how to do this.
In the YouTube Application: Menu>Settings>Clear search history
You don't have to exit the application after clearing your search history but you may have to go back a page and then re-select your video.
This has worked for me time and time again. Hopefully it helps others.
