3 New MetroPCS Android Phones Coming Soon!

The LG is nice. I would like to see Cricket pick that up as well. If it came out in October, it would be an interesting decision between the Lg and the Huawei Glory in November. The one thing I don't like about the LG Revolution is how it comes with all of that Bing crap instead of Google, but I guess you could change that. Might need to be rooted to remove the Bing stuff though.

From what i have seen of Metro's pricing expect the Bryce to be around 300, and the Samsung to be about 150-200 before any rebates. Still not bad phones, at least they are getting something with a decent processor, ram, and with flashes on the camera's..

did u read the specs on the phone no way 300 u would pay about 400$ - 500$ up front and then u might get rebate and plus metro havin back to school sale they might launch the phone after the sale it all up to them

me & my wife & daughter went to Metro last night to get there phones upgrade, wife- Huawei M735, daughter- Samsung Freeform 3, the M735 is nice but the touch screen sucks (firm sliding w/finger or stylus), nice though. tried to convince her to get the M835, but she says is ugly & went with the M735. now the Freeform looks real good. they were happy with them. i'm just setting them up for my upgrade:D

The specs are not that different than the Motorola Triumph which is $300, but yeah, I think it will start out at $350-$400 since it's 4g, then come down some.

I just have to say this since nobody else has: the LG Bryce? Seriously? WTF kind of name is that? I mean, they had meetings about this, probably focus groups and market research, and thats what they come up with? Isn't that like a persons name? What's next, the Samsung Steve?

Because of the time frame they are looking to release the LG phone with the funky name. I am thinking it will be about 400 with maybe a 50 rebate or something. But with Metro who knows.

In case some people didnt actually read the article, the LG Bryce is the same phone as the LG Revolution 4g, but with less memory. So if you Metro peeps are looking for more info, check out Youtube for the Revolution. I still think it's blasphemy for an Android to be loaded with all of the Bing apps, but it's a nice phone.

I fully agree...Bing BLOWS! Sorry but its just another Microsoft Monster....

I think Metro PCS felt the same why you did about the name LG came up with for the LG Bryce. So they change it to LG Esteem: LG Esteem for MetroPCS this October | Android World. This article is old, the phone is actually expected to come out 09/26/11.

According to my local Metro dealer the Samsung Admire is supposed to be getting released on Aug 22nd, and cost 149 with an instant 50 rebate. The LG Esteem (Bryce) is going out on either 9/26 or 9/27 and supposed to be 400 with a 50 mail in rebate.

Personally from what i have read on the Admire is its an 800mhz processor 2gb of internal memory, 2.3 OS, and a 5mp camera with Flash..The only downside for some would be that it is not a 4G phone. However with the 800mhz ARM processor it should be capable of handling Adobe Flash with no problems. Personally i don't use the 1x Data of Metro, as i am always on Wifi, at home, work, or shopping..So 4g really does not mean anything to me.
