Guys help please.

am I losing the plot here.
I tried to take a photograph with my T Mobile G1 today and a little message came up on the screen saying.."insert SD card into slot"

There is a 2GB sd card IN THE SLOT!
So what am I doing wrong???

Take the SD card out and put it in again....

It happens to me as well when I'm trying to play music....

Ive taken it out then put it back in securely about 6 times and it still comes up with insert sd card - this is not good! any answers please

Try this ...

Dont mess with the card ... It is the Cover ... Press around the entire edge of the cover making sure it is pushed in and closed completely ... this will engage the micro switch... that signals the microSD is installed.

HTC could/should have put the switch ..such that the card engaged it as opposed to the cover ... but "there is is" and we deal with it ..!!
