Root Circle battery mod for DINC2?

I did a thread search and there are threads for various other phone that have successfully installed a circle battery mod for their phone but haven't found anything for our DINC2's. My question is.. is there a way to accomplish it? I have found some of the mods and have tried to install them however the install fails apparently due to me running a newer Clockworkmod. The recommendations I have been given is to run Clockwordmod 2.5.1 to get them to install.

1) I don't know how to run the older Clockworkmod. I have a copy of it but not exactly sure how to get it to show up in rom manager to switch to.

2) Can these other circle battery mods be used on our phones with the various roms we use? Or when you have a mod does it have to be written specifically for your ROM?

3) I am running Gingersense which is deodexed and some of the clock mods only state you need to be deodexed but again, running in to the Clockworkmod error "scripts or signature not being used since Android 1.5" you need to use 2.5.1.2 recovery to flash it"

Just started rooting so figure my noobness. Hope I made some sense.

well flashing wont always work, so use photoshop or gimp. open up framework and replace the current battery images with ones of your own, its easy but tedious, thats why only a few people theme

Seems to work good, I accepted the defaults to cook and they worked. I couldn't get the boot animation to work though. Haven't played with it enough yet to tell what I need to get that working.

you don't need an online kitchen for boot animation, just root explorer, or even astro.
