I used the Android SDK. Here is a link of how that process works - and also here is a post where someone helped me get it done in Windows 7 - for non-rooted devices.

I tried this, as this was how I did screen shots on my OV - it washes all the colors out to a sort of overbright mess on the Triumph, or at least it did for me.

i tried shootme but the colors were all messed up. Anyone got any other apps that do it? I don't really want to root my phone.

you might also want to try screenshot it... paid app but it has a demo that lets you take 5 shots

in fact just try every screenshot app you can find... even if they say rooted phones only it may work unrooted keep in mind on the market page for ShootMe is says "Only supports ***ROOTED*** devices." but it works fine on some unrooted phones other apps claiming rooted phones only may be in the same boat

Separate app: DodolUsage.

It's really nifty, and I've been using it since I got my Intercept last year.

ShootMe results (no wonder they call it that!) Interestingly, the thumbnail colors look ok, but the large version is bizarro...

get an app called screenshot works just like shoot me.. what i used,my shoot me took a dump on the triumph as well... no clue why.

The contrast isn`t as stark as it is on screen, but this is my high contrast Black/White screen for the triumph. The colored icons really pop on my other screens with this setup.

Thanks. Broke my own rule and didn't post details.
Those are niteowl's semisense icons on the left - search xda semisense and you should get to his complete thread. Also minimalistic text on the left. The icons are tagged with sms unreadcount mod - searching xda forum should get you there, if not tag me back for the link.
Right is lockscreen using Widgetlocker app. Top row is minimalistic text, bottom row is Missed It! notifications. Have a good one.
