Volume button as camera shutter button?

I just had a look at iOS5 and most of the stuff that they have included in this update seems to copy android A LOT but one new feature seemed very appealing. That was the ability to use the volume changer button as the camera shutter button. Comparing the iphone and galaxy s2 the volume changing button are situated at almost at the same position and same side of the phone. I was wondering if the galaxy S2 had this feature or if it would ever be implemented in the future as using the volume changer button as the shutter would be very practical.

Using volume buttons to zoom in and out is more practical. I do agree that the phone needs a dedicated camera button though.

I WANT THIS!

Seems like it would be very easy to make an app for this.

Also probably quite easy to make a MOD for the Samsung camera app.

If you haven't experienced the landscape picture bug yet u will. Basically even if the pics taken in upright phone mode look ok in your gallery they will MMS or upload as if taken landscape. This means rotating phone left to take pics. In this orientation it would be power button on top not volume.

I don't think it's possible to override power button function
