$99 for Thrill 4G

whats wrong with the EVO 3D if you don't mind me asking

First I'm gonna compare my EVO 3D to either an at&t demo model or radio shack to see if the 3D is really much better, how the speaker is, performance etc before I sell.

The EVO 3d is great but I'm all about the 3D. It only comes with a demo of the 3D spiderman game while the Thrill has 4 games with 13 more coming that was just announced. Asphalt 6 HD 3D is amazing so that's disappointing that HTC is far behind on that aspect.

The Thrill has an entirely separate 3D menu including the dedicated 3D app which the EVO 3D doesn't. You can search under "yt3d" to pull up 3D videos on the EVO 3D but again, the Thrill has way more 3D content. Seems to have better sound compared to the horrible speaker on the EVO 3D and the processor seems slightly faster.

The only thing that worries me is that At&T has also blocked non market apks on the Thrill. On my EVO 3D, I can install any apk game or app from the internet and install it. If I can't do that on the Thrill, that might give me pause but otherwise..the Thrill seems to have the edge where it matters most to me

can you provide me a link that states att has blocked non market apps. Cause the last thing i read was all phones released from the infuse and on will be able to load apk via 3rd party

here's one of the links that mentioned it.

That's what i was told but also was told at&t stopped blocking, so I'm confused. I will check out the link thanks!!

Let's hope the non market is carried forward to the Thrill 3D! I read the link, thanks again

The non-market apps block is stupidly easy to get around. But yeah, I'd be shocked if it was blocked on this phone. You probably heard from an ATT hater who didn't bother to keep up to date on news.
