Not Good for Eris owners - 2.1 coming to the hero in early spring

Pretty much what has been stated from the beginning. Verizon said it would be by end of the first quarter 2010. That would be March 31st.
 
"Early Spring" = March = Still within the "First Quarter of 2010" initially announced. This changes nothing and is not bad news. In fact, it's good news to hear that it's still in line to be coming as originally announced.
 
Yeah, well, as much as it hurts to know it's not coming out soon, at least we're at peace now and not losing sleep expecting an update at any moment.

Perhaps it will come on my birthday, March 28th. Then I can feel like it's a special, wonderful gift from them.

Kinda makes you wonder what they're doing this instant regarding the Eris 2.1. Are they working on it, still planning how it's going to be done, or simply procrastinating?
 
my dad went to get a new eris cuz of crappy signal, today, and the vzw guy said mid to late febuary for us ... more lies? lol

You know that guy? That guy in the office who gets stuff done, but doesn't really rush cause he knows as soon as he finishes one project, they'll just assign him a new one. Eris 2.1 is sitting on his desk.... Doh'
 
I just wish something would come out directly addressing the Eris and 2.1. Even if it is still just speculation. It'd be nice to know how it's all moving along. Or isn't.
 
I get sick and damn tired of hoping off of rumors. I know better than to get my hopes up over the speculation shit. Speculation is meant to be fun but now I'm really tasting turn-by-turn directions, spoken text messages, etc.

I just have to get myself back into patience mode and enjoy what I have. I'm trying to get back into topics that teach me about my current configuration.

Edit: You know what? I just looked at the source and it's from that same Irish Carrier. I wonder if they are the same folks that passed on the rumor about today being a big day for Verizon managers. The upside is that you could wake up any day and find that you have an upgrade waiting. Maybe it'll be on a day when I'm sleepy as hell and just starting off shitty and then bam! Upgrade to cheer my day up. :D
