Root no 4g shortly after root.

So like the title says shortly after doing the one click root that i used about half a month ago or maybe a little bit more i've lost 4g and only get 1x. I was thinking about unrooting and putting the bloatware back on as if it was how when i got it and if that doesnt work i was going to factory reset. Would someone mind telling me how to unroot my phone with the previous one click? do i just boot up the same file as i did for the root i dont remember sorry for the noob question. Btw i havent had 4g for about 2 weeks or so.

Unrooting is done using the same file, yes. There's an option in there for that.

However, if you are unrooting just because of the connectivity issue, let me tell you right now that rooting your phone in no way, shape or form interacts with your radio, therefore, the connectivity problem must be from elsewhere.
I suspect maybe you have installed another app at the time that is messing with your configuration, or you might have a burnt out LTE radio, if you let the phone get extremely hot and it did not have a chance to turn itself off. (highly unlikely)
Most likely though, I am thinking you might have used the LTE radio kill switch present here (**583385##) and selected CDMA ONLY mode and forgot to switch the Nw mode back to 4g.
The LTE kill switch app settings survive phone reboots and cache wipes.

ok so when i switch the phone nw mode to 4g i still get no 4g or 1x at that. I also cant make phone calls or check the phones status

On my first Indulge I burnt out the LTE radio do an Odin and take it back to the store if the LTE does not come back and you can get it replaced. They replaced mine with a new one (Not refurbished) without any hassle.

Same here with what Texan said! No hassles exchanging my 1st Indulge in... this one has been working ever since the exchange w no problems!

Also... on the day I took it in there were 2 other guys in there exchanging theirs. I think perhaps they could've had a bad batch of phones or something. The 4G radio would not function nor would 1x ...no matter what they tried in the store.

is it really necessary if i only just did the one click root and install 2 apps that required root such as root me and the mobile hotspot app? Cant i just reput the bloatware and put unroot the phone or should i really do an odin?

Depending on the method used to root/unroot the phone, it may be possble to tell that it was previously rooted, although. I doubt metro would go that far...
You're gonna be getting a new one anyways, so I say unroot it, reset it to factory, delete the root requiring apps you've installed, return it, and call it a day!

ok so i tried to unroot today using the same application i tryed one click root and bloatware removal and they both close immediately when i open them im really worried i wont be able to unroot.

I have lost 4G for the last few days and only have a 1x connection. I have rebooted, I have tried using Any Cut's LTE Function Test to force it to "turn on" but nothing.

I'm in the Los Angeles area. Have there been any updates to Metro PCS' system that would prevent the Basix ROM and/or rooted phones to have 4G access?

I have been using this Basix Rom since it was released and it has been such an improvement over the crappy stock rom experience. However, not having 4G has been a problem ... especially when trying to view email messages. Ughhh

I tried re-enabling Global Mode through the ## phone code to no avail. Based on previous posts, it looks like my 4G is burned out. Time for Odin I guess!
