Root Going from Darkslide to 596 deodexed

If I want to switch, do I have to sbf and do all over again, or can I bootstrap 588 and then 596? Basically I'd like to skip the whole sbf process if possible

Are you on4.2 froyo DS? If so you need to sbf

Here are the files for the rooted .596 install if you want to flash GB roms. Install part 1 , 2 then the deodex in cwr after sbfing.

going to be a cleaner install if you SBF, IDK if that is something you absolutely have to do, but its what I did, and it always works when you do.

All you need to do is flash the prerooted deodexed .596 right over top of DarkSlide X. I have done it this way several times without issue. As always backup first just in case but you should be good to go with this method.
