Has anyone been able to play FLV files w/ your Droid 3? Some of the files I've downloaded from YouTube are MP4, which play just fine, but the ones downloaded as FLV aren't recognized by the phone. TIA.
FLV is just container, videos in FLV are mostly in H264 or WMV format, so you need player supporting this container and also corresponging video and audio codecs.

Thanks, I appreciate the recommendations. Which of those 3 would you recommend the most?
On my PC, I use VLC, which plays just about all formats except 3GP files. But the last time I checked, they don't have an Android player yet, for some reason.
I just Googled an update for it and came across this thread.
Edit: I'll give MoboPlayer a shot. This could be the perfect complement to my audio player - WinAmp.
I've tried just Moboplayer for a short time and it played all videos well. I can't recommend one, because I don't have any videoplayer installed on my phone.
You can compile vlc for Android by yourself : AndroidCompile - VideoLAN Wiki You need just 32bit Linux (real or running in virtual machine on Windows[FONT=Liberation Serif, serif]
