Help Crackling sound during calls?

Dyspoid

Lurker
Hey guys, I have had my phone for about a month now, and I love it. It is by far the best phone I have ever owned. Although, among little nuisances, I have noticed that during calls I hear a crackling sound when the person I am speaking to speaks. It is comparable to the sound of a blown earphone.

I would like to know if anybody else is experiencing this?

Thankyou in advance,
Dyspoid.

Having popping noises too when talking to someone. Although intermittent, it's rather annoying as it's sudden and really loud. Dropping the volume down a little sure helps.

Mine sounds clear as a bell.. I would get it checked out by the dealer, or are you in low coverage drop area which may cause sound problems?

Yes 1 month after receiving my phone it started the crackling broken speaker noise. it is increasing in frequency and i can't hear the other person on the line. I embarrassingly have to say i will call them back. i have asked them what they heard and they say they could hear me fine. they did not hear the static noise. Even when i play music it is there and last night when i plugged in the charger as i was walking away i heard the noise. a few weeks ago i called t-mobile and they almost immediately wanted to replace but no guarantee it would be replaced with a brand new phone. i say this is a brand new phone. I paid top dollar for brand new not preowned refurbished. i have already gone thru that when my 2 year old galaxy s1 vibrant bricked after the kies update. the voice commands never worked right like it remembered the first owners dialect and voice. They offered to help me do a factory reset and at this point i will try that.
