i have been trying to get agenda widget to work properly for the past few days before i like the look of it. however, when i add an event, such as a tattoo appointment, it does not display on the widget. it's telling me i haven't set the widget up yet, but i have.

any help? or recommend another agenda widget that looks very similar?

Could you be more specific? What 'Agenda Widget' are you talking about?

Personally, I use the Smooth Calendar widget.

Sorry to piggy-back onto this thread, but I think the OP is referring to Android Agenda Widget, as I too have started having problems with this. More info is below for anyone who may be able to help:-

A few weeks ago, shortly after a system upgrade on my htc desire hd, my previously 100% reliable Android Agenda Widget stopped displaying my upcoming calendar events, and instead showed the following message on my
4x3 widget:-

Sorry, you either haven't selected a calendar or there are no events!
Click here to open the settings!

This was despite me still having entries in my calendar, and I had changed no app settings prior to this error. I have since tried changing settings and uninstall/reinstalling the app but the problem is not resolved.

Any support would be most appreciated, as I am severely missing my Agenda Widget!

Many Thanks in Advance

Have you tried de-selecting the calendar that holds your appointments from the widget, closing then re-selecting. Maybe a force-stop and reboot would help. You know the phone has a calendar assosciated with every Gmail account, Exchange account and PC-Sync? Are you sure you're adding events to the right calendar?

Thanks for your reply SiHa-your suggestion did just the trick after an uninstall/reinstall. Strangely this wouldn't work before the reinstall however.
Thought it worth mentioning that your advice echoed that of Sam, the app developer, who was extremely quick in responding with support btw, which was as follows:
Please try this:

settings->data source->click "clear calendar data" go into "choose calendars", do any calendar show? Try selecting some and see if any events show?

Are you using scrolling?

Thanks again for your support and I hope this might also help the OP and others,

Leigh
