but Link2sd show up

How can I do to solve this problem ?

First thing I'd try is going into Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, Running. Have a look if there's any app there that could be feasibly accessing your second partition, Force Close it, then try again.

I tried to force stop every app that show in running(some app can't stop) and run Link2SD again but it's show the same :(

@thanawat:

What program are you using to partition your SD Card [screen shots 1 & 3 above] is it gedit?

Yes, I use Gparted to do partitioning SD card (I know you know this app, just type wrong name)

I had this prob on a cheap card.
I then bought a 100% genuine sandisk and now it works ok.

sandisk is so expensive (in my area). My card is Kingston I think it's not bad ?

any one can help me ? :(

Kingston are likely to be fake card (it has the highest ratio of fake memory out there), try formatting to the full 8GB (NTFS or FAT32) and transferring 8GB of data onto the card. What is the result?

Try different partition progs like Minitool Partition Manager or EASEUS Partition Manager, both are free for home use, search engine will find them - if you use Windows of any sort.

If you do not wish to get 100% genuine sandisk, or Kingston, then you will find you will always struggle to get it to work properly as it was meant to.

If you have a terminal installed [and are rooted] you can find out if any processes are accessing your SD Card by using busybox lsof followed by the partition you are interested in eg: busybox lsof /sdcard1.

Another possibilty is the firmware you are using.
What firmware are you running on your tablet? I seem to recall there was some problem with external SD Card partitions and Tim's 5x firmware?

I run s0I not Tim so do not follow Tim threads too closely. Can any Tim 'Fan Boyz' give us an opinion as to whether this might be the cause of the problem?

dart? This might be one for you...

Yes, you're right, I recognised the screen shots but typed the name wrong.

Being Linux it knows how to partition SD Cards and format them as VFAT / FAT32 so the partition format is unlikely to be the problem.

I use P041 pad. maybe it's from my firmware like you said. but I will try your suggestion and other app to find what can work with my model.

tried this but cannot use this lsof :(

Damn! You're right. I have been using Linux [aand Unix] for so many years I just expect these things to be there, sorry, I should have checked first.

It is a most useful utility that lists all the processes that have a given file open at the time of asking...

Have you confirmed your card is the full stated capacity yet?

Which computer OS do you use?

Sometimes, just doing the basics correct from the start often works best.

I check my card like in picture
drive%20property.png

8,031,043,584 Byte = 7.4 GiB I can transfer file to card colse to 7.4 GiB

I use Ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop.

OK - your card seems genuine, and you know how to partition correctly, so no prob there.

Right - then you (or others) need to confirm that model P041 does actually support programmes like link2sd or app2sd type of apps on those FT models. That is your quest - start new threads and ask new questions on the various Flytouch forums, such as apad.tv etc, "Can Model P041 Use Link2sd or App2Sd Type Of Programmes"

We all know FT can only use link2sd, if P041 does not support link2sd, then I would see a short shelf life for that tablet, or a custom rom that can support moving apps to sd needs to be developed asp.
