moving parts in this phone

Are there moving parts in the htc inspire? How easy is it to break them from dropping? I used to have an i-phone, dropped it and the screen went white. On the flip side I have an ipod nano that I can throw down the street and it still works..

HTC tends to make better quality phones than other manufacturers. but it doesn't necessarily make them immune to drops.
i've dropped my inspire a couple of times. nothing major and i just have a barely noticeable scratch on the battery door.
the most vulnerable parts on this phone, if you were to drop it, would definitely be the screen and also the camera since it sticks out.
My dad has this phone and dropped it camera side down and cracked the camera lens.

good to know! So you don't know if there is moving parts inside?

If you take your phone in for a manufacture warranty, do they give you a refurbished model?

I have dropped mine a few times and so has my husband. Nothing broken on either. My husband had an iphone before the inspire he took it out of the otterbox one time and it slipped and cracked the screen.

As mentioned the screen and camera would be the most vulnerable. Both my husband and I opted to get the Defender cases.

And yes if you do the 1yr mfg warranty swap out through att its usually a refurb that is sent.

I think it's flash memory as well. Not like the ipod/zunes that had a moving harddrive. My daughter would shake the crap out of my 30gb og zune and it would stop working for a few minutes and you could hear the harddrive spinning.
