Who's gonna be the first to get it here? How does verizon decide about the update order? I would hope that verizon gets the ball rolling early....

Short Answer: the thread started discussing a certain user instead of the topic therefore all posts about said user were cleaned so we can have a fresh start

I'm gonna guess it's at random or certain regions. It said 10,000 at first and then another 50,000. I'm sure someone on here is going to have a VERY good morning tomorrow.

For the record: as discussed in the 2.2 thread, location doesn't matter. it's completely random. but if you do get before me I'll be totally jealous.
 
I have good news! I am receiving the update!!!

A swallow (of African variety) just showed up my house for me. He brought me...a coconut!
 
I am not looking forward to the "gingerbread broke my phone" threads plus the general backlash that will occur when everyone realizes gingerbread was nothing to get excited about.

I am. Only cause I am rooted and will wait for the devs to take the official update and give me something that won't break my phone. LOL.

Not that I want to see anyone lose their phone. That is a tragedy. But people will inevitably do something like try to update even though they're rooted or will somehow otherwise make me laugh.
